GRANTS & sponsors

grants & sponsors

The CFC Academy is growing at an exponential rate. As a club, we now have over 320 members and have 15 groups training each and every week. We really couldn’t do this without the help available from grants and sponsorships. The funding received from these sources provides the necessary equipment, facilities and training so all of our players can keep doing what they love.  We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped keep our programme growing each year.

We were delighted were to receive the Grants for Groups from as part of the ongoing support from MEA Council which we were able to use to purchase new equipment for the Youth Academy. This has been a great boost to all of age groups.

We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Football Fund, being delivered in parnership with Sported. The Barclays Community Football Fund launched in 2022 will be offering grants and support
resources to grassroots groups. The fund will primarily support young people in deprived or underrepresented areas through local organisations like ours, many of whom are not yet benefitting from the wider football pyramid.

This year we were selected to receive the Tesco Community Grant for our new Futsal Programme. This was a brilliant opportunity for CFC to expand and to get more kids into our programme who were looking for something different. A big thank you to the Tesco Community Champion Ronnie McFall for all his help.

We are delighted to be a member of the Sported community. Sported is the largest network of community sports groups in the UK, supporting more than 2,600 groups to help disadvantaged young people build confidence, gain skills and get their lives on track.

We are delighted to be awarded funding from the Community Impact Grant from Benefact Trust. Benefact Trust’s Community Impact Grants Programme supports projects that will make a positive and transformative impact on lives and communities. This funding has supported the work of our Schools & Communities Partnership which has seen 1,600 children per week receive a coaching session in their school from CFC.
